How To Properly Use Low Tack Transfer Tape With Vinyl

I believe most of you have come across the issue that transfer tape can not lift up the vinyl. The reason is quite simple because the tape you use is low tack.

Obviously anyone would think so why not choose high tack ones?

But it's not that simple because high tack tape can transfer the vinyl easily, but it may leave residue on the vinyl surface especially for holographic vinyl and mirror chrome vinyl. The advantage of using low tack transfer tape is reducing the chances of leaving residues on decals.

For all low tack tapes, no matter it's teckwrap craft brand or any other brand, we can use a common method i.e. peeling the vinyl backing off instead of lifting the vinyl up with transfer tape. It works way better as you can see from the following video obviously.
