What is DTF Film?

A DTF film is a special PET sheet with a coating that holds DTF inks and adhesive powder till it's time to print on a garment. It allows high ink absorption and is heat-resistant. It helps transfer vibrant and durable custom-printed designs onto the fabric of your choice that do not fade with time. You will need a special DTF printer for this process. DTF printing gives you the liberty to design both light and dark-colored garments. There is no restriction on the type of fabric used as well.

How Does DTF Film Work?

It is very simple to use our DTF Film if you have the right equipment. Here are the steps:

• Print the mirror image of your design on the DTF film using the dedicated printer with special water-based pigment DTF inks.
  
• Apply DTF powder evenly while the print is still wet.
• Using a curing oven, apply heat to the sheet to cure the powder.
• Place the film on the fabric where you want the design to be and apply heat according to the recommended time, temperature, and pressure settings.
• Remove the film, and you have successfully transferred your beautiful design onto your garment.
