Popsicle Sticks And Vinyl Christmas Tree Ornaments
Your kids will love our first project idea; we guarantee it! Gather around a table with your little one and encourage them to participate in this crafting activity with you. Today, we’ll be making Christmas tree ornaments with popsicle sticks!
The coolest thing about this project is that your kids will be able to partake in it. Imagine their delight when you hang these ornaments on your Christmas tree! They’ll love the chance to show off their crafting abilities to any guests that visit your home.
This project is super simple! Take 5-6 popsicle sticks. Paint them in your toddler’s favorite colors. Your little one can help you with painting as well. Once the paint is dry, lay one stick flat on the surface of your work table. You’ll need to cut up the other sticks in different sizes from the biggest to the smallest to make a Christmas tree.
You can use a craft knife or scissors for this step. Cut so that you have stick pieces of 1″, 1.5″, 2″, 2.5″, and 3″ lengths. Line up these pieces on the large popsicle stick so that they form a ‘triangle’ shape. Ensure that there is no space between them. The smallest stick piece should be at the top. Use a glue gun to secure them in their positions.
For the smallest stick piece, take a piece of twine and place it below the stick. Add a dollop of glue where you want it to sit. Now it's time to make it look really beautiful, decorate it using the TeckWrap Craft adhesive vinyl!
