Of course, here at TeckWrap Craft, we wouldn’t miss out on sharing with you useful information on how to sublimate on canvas. This is what the next part of this informational post is all about. To start off, you need to gather the needed supplies for sublimation printing.
If you have a canvas material made of polyester fabric, you can directly sublimate it. Sublimation on canvas polyester is pretty straightforward. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

If you want to print on a canvas but it’s made of natural cotton fibers, then this part is for you. Other than cotton canvas, you can follow these instructions if you’re printing on dark-colored garments as well. For this step, you’ll need white heat transfer vinyl and your cutting machine.
Do you know you can create those canvas paintings? Surely you can with canvas sublimation. There are blank canvas paint boards you can buy in craft stores. If you’re in doubt of your painting talents, why not sublimate them?
Most of these stretched canvas painting boards come in a wooden frame. All you have to do is remove the staple wires from the canvas and then sublimate over it. Just like you would on the instructions stated above.
After you’re done, if you have an industrial stapler, hot glue, or thumbtacks, put back the canvas on the wooden frame. There you have it! You now have a sublimated painting. Try out this project and the details are just amazing!

You can even sublimate over the laminated canvas. Many crafters use blank canvas boards, laminate over them, then sublimate them to achieve that glossy picture frame look. These sublimation prints will make the perfect gift for your loved ones and friends.
All you have to do is heat press the laminating film on the canvas fabric, then sublimate the print over it. Then, using hot glue or stapler, attach the canvas to the wooden frame. You can even make a reverse canvas board.
