• The low setting is for sensitive base materials. It has a temperature range of 255°F (125°C) to 295°F (145°C).
• The medium setting is perfect for most heat transfer vinyl films that are applied within 300°F (150°C) to 355°F (180°C) temperature range.
• The high setting is great for infusible ink and sublimation projects that require temperatures above 355°F or 180°C.

How To Use The EasyPress Mini Heat Press?

You can use the EasyPress Mini heat press machine without any hassle. After finalizing your design and cutting it, weed out the negative vinyl pieces. Once it is ready to be applied, this is what you have to do:

• Pre-press your fabric to remove moisture if any and place it on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
• Press the power button once to turn your EasyPress Mini on. Now set the desired temperature depending on the heat transfer vinyl you are using. The light on the machine will turn orange. When it reaches the desired temperature, it will turn green.
• The medium setting is the optimum temperature for most heat transfer vinyl films. This is represented by two light bars on the mini heat press. Heating up will take less than a minute.
• Place the design on your fabric and cover it with parchment paper.
• Glide your Mini press over the design gently in a constant motion applying firm pressure. Do it for the specified time. EasyPress does not have a timer so you will have to check your watch to keep track. Normally, it takes 20 to 25 seconds to transfer.
• When the time is up, flip the fabric over and apply heat to its backside for another 15 seconds.
• Remove the parchment paper. Slowly and gently, peel off the carrier sheet from the HTV design.
• From some HTVs, the carrier sheet is taken off while they are still warm while others need to cool off before it is removed. Read the label of your vinyl to see whether it is a hot or cold peel. With this, you have successfully transferred your HTV design using the Cricut EasyPress Mini.
